Fredericksburg Texas Wild Flowers in Bloom

Spring in the Texas Hill Country is shaping up to be fantastic this year. We have had just enough rain that everything is lush and green and now the wild flowers are popping out. Blue Bonnets are starting to line the roads and the Willow City Loop as always is beautiful. This year could be the best wild flower year in a while. It’s gorgeous and sunny in Fredericksburg today.

  1. I wanted to know if any wild flowers were blooming, and if so, the coverage rate. I want to visit with my wife on 3/10/13 and we were hoping to see some beautiful flowers. Last year we visited in April and missed the peak. Any update would be appreciated. Thanks.

    • We don’t have any out yet although with the weather we have had I’m expecting an early bloom this year. The peak season is usually around the 2nd week of April. This year I would guess they will be beautiful around the last week of March.
